I was sorting through my photographic books last night and I started limiting myself to a shortlist of 5 books which have been useful to me over the years which I felt might also be useful to those starting out in photography either as a serious hobby or as a career.
It seems a very long time since I have managed to start catching up with all the 'jobs' which have got left behind!
As promised here is the second part of composition in Brief. I hope it is useful to you.
I’ve broken this into two sections as it has got a bit long!
Composition is the basis of every genre in photography and is one of the first things to think about and experiment with.
So you have packed the car with everyone and everything in it and you drive off from home looking forward to two weeks away from work and spending time either with those you love (hopefully!) or are intending to find a bit of space for yourself on a trek to somewhere you want to visit.
Sometimes I can spend hours sitting in a place I have visited before and where I have found specific forms of wildlife and yet I see nothing.
